The author of “Made In Korea: Graphics from Everyday Life in the DPRK”, Nicholas Bonner, has accumulated 20 years of visits to North Korea and is an expert in the countries tourism and graphic culture. From his experiences he has created “the most comprehensive collection of North Korean graphic ephemera to date, according to Phaidon. Bonner has uncovered thousands of items from tinned food labels to invitations for state performances. The book is 240 pages full of photos, memorabilia and essays digging into social, historical and political contexts.
