Club Culture.
Fabric, one of London’s most popular clubs since almost 20 years, is hosting a photographic exhibition opening today, April 25th. The exhibition will comprise of images of the 1970’s soviet clubbing scene, and stories from around Berlin, to the US and beyond. The photographs were found in OurHistory archives, and are displayed in all of the three grand room of Fabric. Club Culture has been curated by Red Gallery, lead by Ernesto Leal. He states that he is trying to make a statement against the ignorance and cynicism of the European elite against marginalised groups – who could not exist without the European collective conscience. A panel of judges will also choose images from contemporary artists to display along side the archived images.
