Changes at Burberry.
Burberry has announced that Riccardo Tisci has joined the brand as chief creative officer. He is replacing the role of Christopher Bailey.
Before his new position at Burberry, Tisci had previously held the creative director title at French fashion house Givenchy from 2005 to 2017. There he worked with Marco Gobetti, then a CEO of Givenchy, who joined Burberry as CEO last year.
“I am honoured and delighted to be joining Burberry as its new Chief Creative Officer and reuniting with Marco Gobbetti," Riccardo Tisci said. "I have an enormous respect for Burberry’s British heritage and global appeal and I am excited about the potential of this exceptional brand.” stated Tisci.
Riccardo Tisci will start his new role at Burberry in March and will present his first collection for Burberry in September.
