Dita von Teese and Christian Louboutin have together released a capsule collection of haute lingerie. The burlesque star has long been a muse of Louboutin, and their pairing is a match given the shoe-maker’s penchant for creating dramatic, sexy, pin-up heels. “There are a lot of pairs that he has made ‘specially for me that I wear over and over and over, and they are usually basic black with a perfect shaped heel,” Von Teese told The Coveteur. “I’m a big fan of the simple black pump.”

The lingerie offering features a cheeky "toile de jouy" print custom-designed by Louboutin. Dubbed XXXtian (because Xtian is how Louboutin signs his emails), the limited-edition set comprises seven pieces in all including bra and panties, suspender, bustier and a kimono retailing at around $1,000. The set is embellished with red Swarovski crystals – perfectly accessorised with Louboutin’s iconic red soles.
