Matthieu Lunard was born in Paris sometime in the late seventies. Enamored by the East, he began to travel around Asia at the age of 20. Four years later, he completed a degree in Chinese Language and Civilization from Jussieu VII University in Paris. Shortly thereafter, he assisted Japanese photographer Satoshi Saikusa, a passion for fashion photography has been evolving ever since. From 2007 to 2012, Matthieu lived in Shanghai, where he collaborated to many editorials and advertisements.
Today, he continues to live and work in Asia maintaining a steady flow of creative projects with a focus on the figure and portraiture.
Matthieu is now Co-Founder and Senior editor for ASERICA.
